    Introduction

Change can be difficult; especially when dealing with diet and lifestyle changes. While challenging one’s patterns and habits can be scary and uncertain, it can also yield some of life’s greatest rewards.

Are you ready for a change? Do you have questions about nutrition and health? Are you attempting to lose weight and start an exercise regimen? Has your doctor told you that you have high blood pressure or high blood sugars?

    Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, I am here to help you break through your barriers and achieve optimal health and wellness. I approach nutrition counseling armed with years of education, training, and experience. I am a deeply compassionate person whose mission in life is to help people.

I took my first basic nutrition class at a community college and knew I had found my calling. In 2004, I graduated from Central Washington University with a B.S. in Nutrition. I was then accepted into a 14-month long dietetic internship practicum in eastern Washington where I was trained by talented clinical, community, and food service dietitians. As CWU has one of the best Nutrition programs available, I continued my education there and in 2007, received my Masters Degree in Nutrition. My strong connection with CWU continues as I have served on the Nutrition Advisory Board since 2010 and accept speaking and teaching opportunities as they are offered to me by professors. I also enjoy spreading the word of health, wellness, and good nutrition through public presentations.

Since graduate school I have worked in research running clinical trials in the therapeutic areas of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, weight loss, hypertension, cholesterol and neuropathy. I have also discovered a deep passion for nutrition education and counseling.

    My Mission

Believing in the healing powers of good nutrition and physical activity, my mission is to promote health and wellness, and prevent chronic disease. I have helped many people significantly improve their health and quality of life. Take that first step; call me. Together we will empower you to take charge of your health because your goals are possible and they matter!
